>CAMBRIDGE -- Erick Durant, a freshman in Wigglesworth Hall, was unable to finish a load of laundry Sunday evening due to an unforeseen encounter with a dryer full of female undergarments.

At approximately 6pm, Durant entered the basement to move his clothes from a washing machine to\ one of the dryers, where he discovered that the only machine not currently spinning was full of knickers, panties, thongs, and bras of the push-up, demi-, and strapless varieties.

Eyewitnesses state that Durant seemed ill-equipped to handle the situation. "When he opened the door, he got this absolutely panicked look on his face," recalled freshman Julianne Spiva, who was adding detergent at the time. "He kept looking at the other dryers. I think he was praying they would stop so he could use a different machine. He kept running his hands through his hair and swearing under his breath."

Durant reportedly spent several minutes pacing back and forth across the room, taking deep breaths, and every so often making an attempt to remove the frilly articles only to stop just short of the dryer and quickly back off.

After trying unsuccessfully to empty the dryer from a distance with a broom pole, Durant took out his cell phone and began calling all of his female friends for assistance. When neither was available, however, Durant was forced to return to his dorm.
