WASHINGTON – Speaker of the House Paul Ryan frantically emailed his TF in an attempt to secure a last-minute extension on the GOP health care bill that was supposed to be due Friday evening. "Hi Donald," began Ryan's email. "I was wondering if it would be possible for me to get an extension on the health care assignment due today. I know you said you can't grant extensions, but I think I could create a much better health care bill if given just a couple more days. This week has just been so crazy for me – I had two meetings on how to cut taxes for the top 1% and didn't have time to do the CBO reading. I want to submit my best work, and with the Koch brothers and the Freedom Caucus looming it's just not possible for me to do that today." At press time, Ryan was alternately refreshing his inbox and frantically composing paragraphs.
