Eurozone Regrets Blocking with Greece

Amidst new threats from Greece to “leave and never come back,” sources confirmed that everyone in the Eurozone now thoroughly regrets choosing to block with Greece back in freshman year.

“Back when she first started having money problems, I was sympathetic,” says member nation Belgium. “But it’s been years now, and it’s about damn time she got her life together.”

When the group assembled, according to sources, Greece was cheerful and enthusiastic, with an impressive academic and athletic record. But “practically the same week she joined our blocking group,” according to member nation France, Greece’s spiraling financial troubles meant the Eurozone members found themselves dealing with crisis after crisis.

“She’s gotten absolutely unbearable,” says member nation Spain. “I’m not rich either, you know. But you don’t see me threatening to transfer to Quincy, now, do you? I’m so sick of her throwing tantrums over every little thing. Do you know she’s been complaining about the rest of us in the dining hall lately?”

Other members confirmed that Greece had reached the point at which they felt the unstable nation required supervision to prevent future financial irresponsibility. “I mean, look, I don’t want to be mean, but, like…a lot of her problems are because she’s so bad with money,” Austria added. “This is basically her own fault.”

“Yeah, she could probably be a little more responsible with her money,” reported Italy, Greece’s current roommate. “I have to stick up for her, though. If I don’t she starts screaming about how we’re all ganging up on her, and then she sulks for ages.”

Not all the member nations are so well disposed towards Greece, though. “If that bitch doesn’t return my hairdryer soon, I swear to God I’ll have her up before the Ad Board,” says Germany.
